Ramer Chiropractic: A Team Devoted to Your Wellness
Highly trained and experienced, Dr. Ramer uses an effective combination of advanced techniques, such as low-level laser therapy, craniosacral therapy, ultrasound, corrective exercise, yoga therapy, nutrition, and posture correction in conjunction with her chiropractic care to achieve optimal wellness for her patients.
Low-force chiropractic comes to Santa Monica
A hallmark of Dr. Ramer’s practice is her use of the gentle, low-force instrument adjusting and activator adjusting methods to correct spinal misalignments and subluxations. These modern methods deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities to relieve pain and restore function.
You will be comfortable throughout your visit to Dr.Ramer and will not suffer any of the soreness common to the high-force method of adjustment practiced by other Santa Monica and Los Angeles chiropractors.
Also, this gentle, low-force instrument technique is perfectly suited for the entire family – from the youngest children to the oldest adults. It is even appropriate for expectant mothers. Similarly, Dr.Ramer’s treatment is ideal no matter what the cause of your problem may be, including complaints such as sports injuries or whiplash due to an automobile accident.
Alleviating Pain: Neck, Back and Beyond
If you are suffering neck or back pain, Dr. Ramer will design a custom holistic healing program to give you the relief you are seeking. However, the depth of her experience, knowledge and training also make her an expert for dealing with other areas of wellness, including:
- Knee pain,
- Shoulder pain,
- Carpal tunnel,
- Foot pain (including plantar fascia),
- Yoga therapy,
- Nutritional counseling and therapy,
- Webster technique for expectant mothers,
- Pediatric chiropractic care, and more.
A Modern, Holistic Approach to Wellness
People new to chiropractic, as well as those who have previously received treatment will typically associate chiropractic with the “popping and cracking” adjustments practiced by various chiropractors in Santa Monica. And often those adjustments are virtually their only dimension to treatment.
When you visit Dr.Ramer, you will be pleased to experience her low-force technique for alignment, but that is only the beginning of how her practice differs from other Santa Monica chiropractors. For example, Dr.Ramer uses cold laser therapy and laser acupuncture. Among the ailments that can be effectively treated with cold laser therapy is plantar fascia pain, which is seems to be such a common complaint today.
And although acupuncture has been a well-known method of healing for thousands of years, many people are uncomfortable with its use of needles. Dr.Ramer’s mastery of laser acupuncture solves this problem for her patients.
Yoga is another important element of Dr.Ramer’s practice.
Experience Yoga as Never Before
Born in India, Dr.Ramer graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, and in addition to that she is a certified yoga teacher from The Yoga Institute – the oldest organized yoga center in the world, based in Mumbai, India. With her experience and knowledge in the science of chiropractic and the art of yoga, there are dimensions to Dr. Ramer’s yoga instruction that are far beyond the scope of other yoga teachers.
She believes that there is a natural symbiotic relationship between gentle, low-force chiropractic and yoga that serves the long-term wellness of her patients. When chiropractic and yoga are effectively combined in a treatment program, patients are able to enjoy and sustain far higher levels of health and wellness than they could have previously envisioned.
