Infant Colic improves with Chiropractic Therapy According to a Recent Research Study
A recent randomized controlled trial concluded that chiropractic manual therapy was helpful for infants with colic. The study was done with a sample of 104 patients and consisted of chiropractic therapy of the spine. Published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics October 2012, the trial found that chiropractic treatment improved the crying behavior of infants with colic.
Chiropractors have long known that chiropractic techniques have a positive effect on various pediatric health issues. Now, we do have proof in a controlled study.
Parents should seek out chiropractors specializing in Pediatrics who have gone through further intensive training to address pediatric health issues.
